Dear Friends,

It is with great enthusiasm that I announce my campaign for Elk Grove City Council.

My family has lived in the Sheldon area of Elk Grove for 23 years. I’m an Air Force veteran.  I was employed with PG&E for 32 years as mechanic and Gas Service Representative. My wife, Bonnie, was a school secretary for 15 years with the EGUSD .  We have been married 40 years. Our two daughters, Debbie and Jenny, attended Elk Grove schools.

I have had the honor to serve on the Elk Grove Planning Commission 3 1/2 years, appointed by Council member Gary Davis.  I’m a founding member of the Sheldon Community Association, dedicated to preserving Elk Grove’s historic rural heritage.  I also founded and chaired the Sheldon Heritage Day Fair for 3 years. During the mid-1970′s I was a member and chairman of the South Sacramento Community Planning  Advisory Council, appointed by then County Supervisor Toby Johnson.

Elk Grove is my home, and I have been proud to serve our community. I humbly ask for the opportunity to continue as your councilman for the betterment of our communities, our future, and our families. Please join me for a new Elk Grove!
